I was part of a glbt gathering at WYD2005 in Cologne - I'm not sure if we did the right thing (it's always hard to find a balance between being proud+positive and being obnoxious or disrespectful, but I think it worked out fine in the end - Benedict didn't seem to care very much though, and the representation of the proceedings in public media was obviously under tight control of the church itself. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cEE55T0gLvA Wishing you all the best!
